Protein helps - even managed to go shopping yesterday!
Well, I think I have FINALLY found a remedy for my morning sickness - Protein! Yep, protein helps to stabilize stomach acids and even keep your hormones and mood in balance. I have found that eating just a little protein at a time works wonders. A teaspoon of peanut butter, a handful of almonds, part of a chicken breast or even a scrambled egg (I can't LOOK at a fried egg right now-ugh!). I keep a couple of selections from this group handy and snack on them throughout the day. I don't ever let my stomach get empty. So far, so good, it seems to be working. Just yesterday I was able to go to the store and actually do some grocery shopping! I was not stopped by the nausea and got ALL of my shopping done! I am on cloud nine!
